-Face was an orphan and college football star from California. He dropped out of college and joined the army when his girlfriend broke his heart by leaving him to become a nun as seen in 'The Only Church in Town'. In 'Family Reunion' he learns that the man the team were guarding was actually his long lost father but he has died before Face had a chance to speak to him. He learns however his real name is Richard Bancroft and is renunited with his half sister whom he previously didn't know existed. Alternatively it's possible that he is actually Starbuck from Battlestar Galactica .
